w.a.l.t l can describe the traits of an effective leader

the solo level I am at is  multi structuctural because I have put a lot of detail into it

the solo level i am at is

WALT: Apply Striking and Fielding activities in a range of sports and activities.

WALT: Apply Striking and Fielding activities in a range of sports and activities.

The striking strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were to stand side on when we were about to strike and keep an eye on the ball when you are about to strike.

The throwing and catching strategy I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were to use soft hand when I was about to catch the ball.

My Next Steps

To improve my striking of a ball is to use a different technique because the technique I was using didn't work for me.

To Improve my catching and fielding I need to be able to know were the striker was going to hit the ball because I need to be able to be be in the right place to catch the ball.

The game that I enjoyed the most was all of thembecause I learnt a lot and I was also having fun at the same time.

I can compare and contrast language and ideas between texts with similar author’s purpose.

a few days ago we did a authors purpose follow up activity we got to decide what pieces of writing we  read and used for the activity I read the poems then we had to decide what the poem most fitted under using
P-ersurde

leadership in the food forest

Over the last 2 days the year eight's have been working with the juniors in the food forest. the year eight's showed the juniors how to pick seeds from certain types of flowers and how to store them for next year’s food forest...here's a photo, We made envelopes to put the seeds in them the flower seeds were red clover, borage and yarrow.

After that we had morning tea in our own classes and talked about how we showed leadership during the 1st session a lot of people said that they showed leadership by helping the little kids sort out what flower seeds are what, and what envelopes they put the flowers in .

After morning tea we did chop n drop, chop n drop is we chop down useless plants and put them on trailer and they got taken away, after it was lunch, after lunch my group was sent to room 17 to help out the kakano students.

Next day we were sent to the same class room 17 to help out till lunch time, after lunch we we sent to room 18 to help out and we did little rotation on different activities.

peer mediation(post 1)

today me and my peer mediation group went to do peer mediation but when we went to get the i pad it was flat and there was no other i pad with the peer mediation form on it so we asked the teachers what to do and they said to just do it without the i pad .

at first me and my peer mediation group were a little  worried that we would have a problem but then we remembered that we hadn't had a problem any other time so we hoped that it would be the same as any other peer mediation Judy .

And it was the only problem we had was that a little girl couldn't tie her shoe lace up but that didn't count as a real problem though and it was easy fix too.

so yet again our peer mediation Judy went great even when we had no i pad.

today the year 8's have been helping out in the junior classes my group and I first went to room 18 for the first half hour we helped the juniors do art and other activities when it was time for us to go the juniors hugged us and waved us goodbye .

every thing went really well and it was fun helping out with the juniors.

When we got back to our classes we had morning tea while Mr McAven  explained to us that we were going to make up a game for the juniors to play with us after morning tea .we had to go in partners so Brooke and I went together we decided to play granny's treasure it's like sneak up granny except you have to try steal the treasure from the granny without them knowing who it was

it went really well and everything turned out the way it was planed if not better

here's a photo of the first group we played it with

peer medation (post 3)

on Monday I did peer mediation

my friends wanted me to draw with them in the library but I knew I had to do peer mediation for the first half of lunch so I had to tell them that I had to do peer mediation but I would draw with them in the 2nd half of lunch and luckily they totally understood.

when peer mediation finish I was so surprised because we had no problems at all I remember last year we always had to solve problem .

I took off my peer mediation gear and headed to the library to draw with my friends and tell them about peer mediation this was the best peer mediation I'd done so far and hopefully it stay this way
