Term 1 Integrated Learning - Leadership

We have been learning all about What makes a good leader.

We identified that good leaders show 6 main character traits. These are trustworthy, Resilient, Goal focused, active thinking, Integrity and Motivational

The leadership trait that I think I show the most is being Motivational because at Koru game trails I was cheering people on and helping them when they needed it.

The leadership trait I would most like to develop is being Resilient because during Koru games trail

Something NEW I have learned about leadership is you Don't have to have a badge to be a good leader.

The SOLO level that I reached during this unit of learning is Extended Abstract because I can evaluate the effectiveness of a leader

My next step in learning about leadership is to apply everything that I have learned about leadership to my own leadership roles.

the solo level i am at is

WALT: Apply Striking and Fielding activities in a range of sports and activities.

WALT: Apply Striking and Fielding activities in a range of sports and activities.

The striking strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were to stand side on when we were about to strike and keep an eye on the ball when you are about to strike.

The throwing and catching strategy I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were to use soft hand when I was about to catch the ball.

My Next Steps

To improve my striking of a ball is to use a different technique because the technique I was using didn't work for me.

To Improve my catching and fielding I need to be able to know were the striker was going to hit the ball because I need to be able to be be in the right place to catch the ball.

The game that I enjoyed the most was all of thembecause I learnt a lot and I was also having fun at the same time.

After that we had morning tea in our own classes and talked about how we showed leadership during the 1st session a lot of people said that they showed leadership by helping the little kids sort out what flower seeds are what, and what envelopes they put the flowers in .

After morning tea we did chop n drop, chop n drop is we chop down useless plants and put them on trailer and they got taken away, after it was lunch, after lunch my group was sent to room 17 to help out the kakano students.

Next day we were sent to the same class room 17 to help out till lunch time, after lunch we we sent to room 18 to help out and we did little rotation on different activities.
